Presentations in Energy Device Development and Research

Thornton presented a poster in the title of A Decade Team Work in Pursuing Discoveries in Nanostructure Membrane Characterizations and Observations of the Friedel-oscillation by an AFM Method for Quantum Sensing and Energy Storage Applications at the TechConnect World Conference on June 20, 2023 at the Gaylord Convention, Washington DC.

ABS gave a pitch on the Defense National Innovation Spotlight of Energy, AI, Data/Cyber in the title of  Room-temperature Flexible Josephson Toroidal Junction (FJTJ) Superconductive Systems for Energy Storage on September 29, 2022.

Duh presented our research project poster #T8.563 in the title of  Delocalized Electron Relay in Superconductive Multiple-layer Self-Assembled Membranes Promoted Room-temperature d Wave Mixed-spin Triplet of Cooper-pair to Penetrate Toroidal Josephson Junction Barriers  with a Magnitude Higher Open Circuit Potential at the 25th Techconnect World Conference at the Gaylord Convention,  June 13-15, Washington DC.  The article will be published in the TechConnect Briefs in Electronic and  Quantum Technology, 2022.

E. T. Chen,  J. T. Thornton, S-H. Duh and  P.T. Kissinger gave an oral presentation titled “Utilization of the Flexible Toroidal Vortex Josephson Junctions for Self-Powering 150K Superlattice Bits Having Non-volatile Memory Storage in One Device Assembly at Room Temperature” on Monday M4.342, June, 2019 at the Hynes Convention Center, Boston, Massachusetts, the Techconnect World conference www.techconnectworld.com. The article was published in the Proceedings of TechConnect Briefs in Nanoelectronics, Quantum Material and Devices,  p 260-263, 2019, on June 17, 2019.


ET Chen and J. Thornton presented the research results in a poster #1147 in titled of Nanostructured Acetylcholinesterase (Ache) Memristor/Memcapacitor Mimicks Brachyhypopomus Electric Fish’s Signal-Cloaking Behavior at the Tech Connect World conference at Washington DC, in June 2014.  


An oral presentation from ABS at #1348 titled of Flexible and turnable biomimetic pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDC) supercapacitors was presented at the Tech  Connect World Conference, Washington, DC, Gaylord Convention Center, May 14, 2013


Dr. Chen presented an invited paper and co-authored with C. Ngatchou and K. Bowen in the title of Development of A Nano-Biomimetic Battery/Fuel Cell (Battcell) Prototype Device For High Rate Energy Storage Devices, 45th Power Sources Conference, Las Vegas, June 13, 2012.


An oral presentation at the international Tech Connect World Conference, Dr. Ellen Chen gave a presentation on the topic of Biomimetic electric eel fish’s reversible membrane potential with "multiple-organ" discharge by a supercapacitor, Santa Clara, CA, June 20, 2012.


Dr. Chen presented an invited seminar at the Army Research Laboratory in the tile of A nanobiomimetic Battcell technology platform, Adelphi, Maryland, July 26, 2012.


Dr. Ellen Chen, the President of ABS, Inc., presented a research paper titled “Development of an Electrolyte free and Oxygen-free High Performance Single Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) ” at the 44th Power Sources Conference at Las Vegas, June 14-17, 2010.

ABS had showcased the self-powered scale-up superconductive/mem-element room-temperature quantum computing and memory-energy storage platform technology at the Defense TechConnect conference at the Gaylord Convention in Maryland on October 9, 2019 with the booth #723T.
